ABOUT THE BRAND

Mechali is a family business founded on the value of brotherhood using fashion as a storytelling visual language and channel of communication. Doing what they love, brothers Jason and Dane materialize their family story through luxurious streetwear designs inspired by their Moroccan and South African heritage. 

To them, family is a symbol of boundless, steadfast and warm love. It is a value they see rarely reflected upon in the industry, that they chose to highlight— to honor their ancestors and inspire the young. 

Started in their grandparents’ basement in Maryland after moving to the United States on collegiate athlete scholarships, they share a taste of their home abroad through their timeless collections sold internationally. Drops feature limited quantities of pieces, as each is crafted meticulously using premium quality fabrics ensuring the highest standard of care and comfort.

PURPOSE DRIVEN

We hope to collaborate with a variety of charities that share such a mission, and widen communities, by allowing all to feel belonging to something bigger than themselves.

As many of you know, sports play a huge part in our lives. its the main reason we are in the USA, allowing us to chase our dreams and build a brand we are so proud of.

To begin our commitment, we have chosen to donate a % of sales to the incredible organization - Play It Forward. PIT is a non-profit that engages students in athletics by providing sporting equipment to deserving schools.
